3rd/4th/5th and 6th graders enjoyed their trip to hear the
Colorado Symphony Orchestra Youth Concert
on Thursday, April 29...

The orchestra is warming up for our concert! :-)

Outside after the performance... it was a bit chilly and rainy, but it didn't dampen our spirits!

We're waiting for our bus to be ready to take us to Casa Bonita!

Just before the concert begins!

Do we have to really wait for the Elephant to cross the road, Mr. Holton?                                    How much longer?

Waiting in line to order our meals......

Casa Bonita is awesome!                              We'd like more sopapillas please!?

We had a blast! Mr. Holton, thanks for bringing us.....

Hey there, thought you might like to see my performance of the
National Anthem at the Colorado Rockies game in June of 2008.

That's it for now....

Mr. Holton performs the Star Spangled Banner at the Colorado Rockies baseball game Monday evening, June 16... look at more photos on the Colorado Rockies Game page....

Rookie Pitcher

A rookie pitcher was struggling at the mound, so the catcher
walked out to have a talk with him.

"I've figured out your problem," he told the young southpaw.
"You always seem to lose control at the same point in every
game."

"When is that?" asked the rookie.

"Right after the National Anthem."
